Graniteman Specific FAQs
How should I register for the race?
Just look above at the top menu and find the "Register" link and choose any single race or the Endurance Series to register for all 3 at once.
What time does the transition area open?
Typically our transition area opens at 7:00am or about two hours prior to the race. Please make sure that you leave yourself enough time to get to the race, park, pick up your packet, rack your bike, warm up, and use the restroom.
Is there medical staff on site?
Yes, every Graniteman event has first responders on standby as well as a minimum of an athletic trainer to assist with injuries, heat related complications, and any other medical related needs that arise.
Do I have to be present for awards and door prizes?
Yes, you must be present to win.
Is there bike support at the race?
Yes, if you have trouble before or during the race, Graniteman Events will have professional bike support on site to help. If you have trouble during the race, a support vehicle will be available to pick you up if you request.
How many people will be in my wave and how many minutes are there between waves?
There are generally between 40 and 60 people in each wave depending on the size of the race and how many people are registered in each age group. We try and structure waves to include as much of each age group as possible. There are approximatley 3 minutes between each wave.
If I am unable to race, can I get a refund?
We do not issue refunds for any reason. If you are unable to race or attend, you may have a friend or family member pick up your participant t-shirt and any swag for the race. Finisher medals will only be given to those who cross the finish line.
