2010 will mark the 1st annual Graniteman Corporate Charity Challenge. We are challenging local companies and organizations to join us in helping to create a healthy and energetic event that will not only give back to our community, but to themselves as well. This event fosters team building within your company/organization and provides a purpose to unite behind a single cause. A cause, that is, that has nothing at all to do with work! Or does it? All too often we forget what it really means to push ourselves to compete in our endeavors despite the challenges that work and life present. This is your chance to remember how to compete! Scheels, North Crest, and Granite Equity are just a few of the local companies that will participate in the hopes of creating opportunities for others. By partnering with us you will have the chance to raise money for your favorite charity and rediscover your competitive edge. You will be racing for your company’s pride and for your favorite charity.
Teams will consist of three individuals and can be made up of different genders and ages. At least one of your team members must be an employee of your company/organization. One will swim just under a ½ mile, one will bike 15 miles, and one will run a 5k. The cost is $300 per team. The winning Team will direct $200 from every corporate team entry to the charity of their choice. That’s right, your team or company could decide where hundreds if not thousands of dollars will be donated. Awards will also be given to the 2nd and 3rd place Corporate Challenge teams. One thing is for certain, your competitors are out there! The only question that remains is this. Are you up for the challenge?
